An exciting opportunity has arisen to support our rapid growth initiatives in our Business Development Team based in the UK, supporting our existing customers and developing new business opportunities across the Medical & Pharmaceutical industries throughout the UK & Ireland.
Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you will be part of a well established and successful team.
The role is directly responsible for:
• driving growth in all categories of our Testing & Regulatory services,
• planning, directing and executing an industry based field sales strategy, ultimately delivering profitable sales growth,
• visiting clients face-to-face and building trusted relationships with key decision makers and developing customer loyalty,
• growing the opportunity pipeline in accordance with targets.
The successful candidate will:
• be a natural ‘hunter’ and have the drive to nurture and develop opportunities into tangible results,
• possess a strong personal character coupled with a broad business acumen and intellect,
• hold the vital competencies essential to navigate complex and dynamic market conditions,
• have a proven track record of service sales with a concentrated focus in the Life Science, Medical Device or Pharmaceutical sectors. Ideally this experience will be in technical sales, selling testing or consultancy services,
• be comfortable in a technical and commercial setting.
You will also have a flexible approach to travel, with 60% of the role being client facing covering UK & Ireland.
